The impact of AI cannot be understated. It is pervasive in all corners of the internet, and the creative applications are being pushed more and more. As an independent game design studio, I want to make Pinball Lizard’s stance and policy on AI as clear as possible.
I do not know where the technology will go in the future or if the direction of the company will change over time; however, this page will act as a living document on our use of AI.
Pinball Lizard AI Policy (November 2025)
The summary of our current policy is:
- We don’t use AI in the creation, testing or implementation of any of our games, either as part of the design, production or marketing process.
- We do not hire artists who utilise AI in their art.
- We do not hire writers who utilise AI in their writing.
- We currently have no intention of changing this policy.
